ICDcodes.org is a free informational reference for the ICD-10-CM classification. It is provided as-is for general reference and does not constitute medical, billing, coding or legal advice. See the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

The underlying classification

ICD-10-CM is published by the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics and CMS. It is a work of the United States Government and is in the public domain; we claim no ownership of the classification, its code descriptions, or its instructional notes.

The site’s own material — the page design, the derived signals, the way data is organised and presented, and the written guidance — is our work. You may quote it with attribution and a link.

Permitted use

• Look up, read and reference codes for professional or personal purposes.
• Link to any page, quote short passages with attribution, and cite the site as a reference.

Not permitted

• Automated bulk scraping or systematic copying of the site to build a competing database. The underlying classification is public domain and freely available from CMS and the CDC — please take it from the source rather than from our servers.
• Any use that interferes with the site’s operation or degrades it for other users.
• Presenting the site’s output as clinically reviewed advice, or as a determination of coverage or medical necessity.
• Using the site in a way that breaks applicable law or regulation.
